Moral Rights

Moral Rights are inalienable rights that protect the personal relationship a creator has with their work, even if they are not the owner of copyright in it. Moral Rights concern the creator's right to be properly attributed or credited, and the protection of their work from derogatory treatment. These rights remain with the creator even if copyright ownership is transferred.
